Prior to law school, Lucas graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Brookings Public Policy from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, in May 2019. He has worked as a Judicial Law Clerk and Extern for multiple judges in Nevada, including the Honorable David Jones, Mary Kay Holthus, and Elayna Youchah. Lucas also served as a Law Clerk for the Clark County District Attorney's Office, where he drafted appellate briefings and oppositions to petitions for writs of habeas corpus.
