When is a school's response obligation triggered under the Title IX Final Rule?

For all schools, be it K-12 schools, colleges or universities, or other post secondary institutions such as medical schools or law schools. Notice to the school's Title IX coordinator, or another official who has the authority to institute corrective measures on the recipient's behalf, the school that is the recipient of the federal funding, invokes the school's actual knowledge of the complaint, and requires the school to respond accordingly, be it through either whatever remedies may be appropriate and/or a grievance process.

If you're facing a Title IX case in any capacity, having an experienced attorney advisor in your corner from as early as possible in the process will help allow for the most fair process and a favorable outcome.
