What happens if university faculty is accused of a violation under a university sexual misconduct policy?

If a university faculty member is accused of a sexual misconduct violation under the school's policy, the path forward will be determined by the school in question. Schools will be at their discretion to impose policies that they deem appropriate to the circumstances to both investigate and adjudicate cases of sexual misconduct against a university faculty member. This is for cases that would not be covered in the school's Title IX policy due to the Title IX Final Rule which went into effect August 14, 2020.

This is specific to a school's sexual misconduct policy. Again, schools would have discretion as to what's appropriate.
