If you're a student at a college or university in Nebraska and you find yourself the subject of a Title IX investigation, make no mistake the process can be unfair if you do not take the necessary precautions. Do not speak with the school or others regarding the matter. Let your parents know what's going on. The school, it's often in a rush to judgment. It often does not provide the requisite notice to an accused party or let an accused party know what's at stake during the Title IX case, or the Title IX process that is.
