If your child is facing a Title IX case at their high school in New York, you need to take the necessary precaution before you engage in any capacity with the school because too much is at stake. You need to understand that although the Title IX Final Rule allows for a more structured and arguably equitable process, you cannot assume that it will be a fair process. You need to understand that it will take a dedicated effort for an accused student to be found not responsible.

The Title IX Final Rule will allow a high school to address and adjudicate a case through either an investigation or a live hearing model and each has its own advantages and disadvantages.
