If you’re a student at a college or university in Georgia and you find yourself facing a Title IX hearing, it’s critical to take the necessary steps well in advance of the hearing itself. Prior to the hearing, the school will present aN investigation report. Prior to it being finalized, all necessary documentation, evidence, and information needs to be included in the investigation report. It may have to include a toxicology report, it may have to include a forensic evaluation. Prior to the hearing itself, opening and closing statements we need to be prepared. Questions for all witnesses, be it the accuser, the accuser’s witnesses, the accused, the accused witnesses they would have to be prepared in advance of the hearing. Many steps have to be taken because so much is involved at the hearing itself so that the prospect of success at a hearing is maximized.
