If you're a student at a college or university in New Hampshire and you find yourself the subject of a Title IX investigation, do not make mistakes at any point in the process, but especially early in the process. Schools often rush a meeting, often are in a rush to judgment. They do not provide an accused student the requisite notice. They do not let an accused student know just what's at stake in a Title IX case. Because of what's involved and because of what's at stake and because it can be an unfair process if you do not take these necessary precautions, do not speak with the school until you have an experienced attorney advisor in your corner from the start of the process.
