Jasen M. Witt

Jasen M. Witt

Jasen M. Witt, J.D., is an accomplished education executive, licensed attorney, and Title IX expert with more than two decades of leadership experience across K–12 districts, higher education institutions, and legal practice. A graduate of Wayne State University Law School, Witt brings a rigorous legal foundation to his work, uniting superintendent-level operational expertise with deep knowledge of education and employment law, governance, and institutional compliance.

Witt currently serves as the Michigan Managing Attorney for LLG National Law Group, where he leads the firm's statewide practice and provides counsel in matters involving labor and employment, education law, investigations, regulatory compliance, and complex organizational issues. His role includes oversight of legal strategy, client advisory services, and management of multidisciplinary teams supporting public-sector and private-sector clients. Before returning to full-time legal practice, Witt served as Superintendent of Redford Union Schools, having progressed from Executive Director of Human Resources & Labor Relations to Interim Superintendent and ultimately the district's chief executive officer. In this capacity, he oversaw academic programming, financial stewardship, board governance, operations, and districtwide strategic initiatives. He also served as the district's senior Title IX official, strengthening compliance frameworks, investigative procedures, and staff training systems. His leadership was marked by transparency, collaborative labor relations, and improved organizational alignment.

Witt previously held senior executive roles across both K–12 districts and higher education systems. As Associate Vice Chancellor of Human Resources and Title IX Coordinator for Oakland Community College, he led system-wide HR strategy, labor relations, policy development, and compliance oversight. His Title IX responsibilities included institution-wide coordination of investigations, policy alignment, training programs, and implementation of prevention initiatives. Earlier roles—including Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources for Troy School District and Director of Personnel & Employee Services for Allen Park Public Schools—positioned him as a trusted advisor to superintendents and Boards of Education on collective bargaining, risk mitigation, regulatory compliance, and strategic planning. Witt's career began as a labor and education law attorney, representing public school districts and public-sector entities. His early legal work provided him foundational expertise in governance, investigations, statutory interpretation, collective bargaining, and
contract negotiations—skills that continue to shape his executive leadership and legal practice.

He holds a Juris Doctor from Wayne State University Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Wayne State University. He maintains his license with the State Bar of Michigan and holds a Michigan School Administrator Certificate with Central Office endorsement, underscoring his dual expertise in law and educational leadership.
