Excellent in Every Way!

Without a doubt, hiring Attorney Joseph Lento to counsel my transgender son regarding a Title IX charge at [school removed] was the best decision my family and I have ever made.  I contacted Attorney Lento the Wednesday evening before Thanksgiving break of 2017 and I was pleasantly surprised when he returned my call within 15 minutes of my leaving a message with his office.  At first, it was difficult and slightly uncomfortable to discuss personal, intimate details regarding my son's charge, but that quickly faded.  It was clear to me that Mr. Lento was a true professional by the way in which he answered my questions and put me at ease while I was discussing this delicate situation.  He explained the seriousness of the charge in a way that I could understand, did not mislead me, nor did he offer me false hopes or unrealistic expectations of outcomes in any way.  When Mr. Lento met with my son, he was professional, knowledgeable of the Title IX workings and procedures, positive, patient, and genuinely kind and respectful.  During our hearing in December of 2017, he was incredibly prepared with questions to present to the judge and guided my son in a way that I did not expect (since I have no knowledge of university proceedings or law in general).  Without Mr. Lento's guidance, I am convinced that my son would have been expelled from college, but instead, he was given a second chance and is able to continue with his studies.   Since the hearing, Mr. Lento has contacted us several times not only to see how we are all doing, but also to update us that no appeal was made to the university's Title IX Office.  I am extremely impressed with his professionalism and am completely touched by his concern for us, especially regarding my son.  There truly are not enough words to describe our appreciation and gratitude for everything that Attorney Joseph Lento has done for us.
