Fraternities and sororities in California are held to high standards under college and universities codes of conduct. When student organization misconduct policies are violated, schools will bring charges against individual members and organization leadership, including officers. Common allegations can include violations of alcohol and drug policies. Hazing and pledge activities can also lead to serious consequences.
