Cleared of False Title IX Charges - Absolutely Incredible

When my son (who's standing here with me while I'm typing up this review just to make sure his appreciation of Mr. Lento comes through in these words) and I got thrown without warning into the confusing waters of trying to navigate a false Title IX accusation for the first time, we honestly felt blind throughout most of the process. His university's vague, terse, and confusing communication regarding the processes involved in a Title IX hearing was far from sufficient, and being new to these sorts of situations made us very worried (to say the least), especially when considering just how serious the consequences of these cases can be. Although he didn't do what he was accused of, due to our lack of knowledge of how these sorts of situations are handled, it felt at times like we were grasping at anything and everything we could to prove his innocence instead of having a coherent plan.

When we requested Mr. Lento's services about halfway through the process, all those fears were soon allayed (at least, as much as they could have been). The consistent sense of clarity and direction inherent in both Mr. Lento's communication and the general way he handled the process was reassuring in that it helped us feel grounded for the first time in 4 months since the process began. For the first time, we felt a sense of hope and a modicum of confidence in the midst of everything that was happening, and that was almost entirely the result of Mr. Lento's words and actions.

When it came to the hearing itself, Mr. Lento was once again exemplary in his services. He went the extra distance for us by being present via video conference throughout the trial, gave us incredibly well-written statements and detailed questions to use in the trial, and offered valuable advice and support the whole time. We honestly underestimated the value of having him available via video conference during the proceedings - having him there during the hearing itself proved incredibly valuable and gave my son and me more comfort and ease than we could have possibly hoped for. In essence, everything Mr. Lento did for us, both before and during the trial, went above and beyond our hopes and expectations of a Title IX attorney, and we would duly and eagerly recommend him for anyone else finding themselves in a similarly difficult situation.

(P.S. after 5 months of ire, my son won an innocent verdict in his trial, and this right outcome have been an extremely unlikely one if not for Mr. Lento's services!)
