Exorcism 101

The punishments of two students at William Paterson University, a school in northern New Jersey, was recently upheld by a state appeals court.  The students were accused of locking a fellow student in her dormitory room and performing an "exorcism" on her because they claimed she was possessed.  One student was suspended from the school for a year and the other was prohibited from living in a residence hall for a year.  The state appeals court rejected the students' claim that William Paterson University violated their rights because they were not afforded the opportunity to confront their accuser or have representation during their disciplinary hearing.
