Extremely Positive Experience

I am writing this review on behalf of Mr. Joseph Lento, Esquire, an attorney who, among other things, specializes in student discipline defense. My recent experience with Mr. Lento was extremely positive. Since colleges and universities are bureaucracies unto themselves, answerable to no one, they can be difficult to deal with once a disciplinary problem has occurred. Penalties are harsh and hearings and appeals are closed affairs, often making their self defense inadequate. Parents have no access to decision makers and have no opportunity to intervene on their children's behalf. Hiring Mr. Lento was a way to have my child's appeal handled in a thorough, professional manner. He looked at our case from every possible angle and brought in every helpful piece of evidence to make the truth of the case obvious. He kept in close contact with my family and was always available. He was neither over optimistic nor pessimistic, but always honestly appraised our situation and potential outcome. He took a proper deferential tone in his approach to the school, but would have been more assertive in tone if that is what the situation called for. He was as anxious about the outcome as we were and I felt sure that with his participation, we were doing all we could. I would have the same impression of him whether our case was successful or not. I would highly recommend Mr. Lento to anyone who is looking for professional help in dealing with a school disciplinary problem.
