Years of hard work had allowed my good friend to be accepted into a top medical school. With a bright future ahead, and due to unfortunate circumstances, he was dismissed from his medical school due to failings on the school's part that were not taken seriously by the school until attorney Joseph Lento interceded on his behalf. With the benefit of hindsight, we should have had Mr. Lento involved in the process from the start of the concerns, but we had never been down such a path before and expected a more just process from the school. Through extensive negotiations with the school in addition to some necessary pressure, Mr. Lento was able to get the school to relent on its former position and allowed my friend to return to school. He would not be the success he is today were it not for the dedication and expertise of Mr. Lento. My friend and his family owes a tremendous debt to Mr. Lento and will forever be grateful.
